SAVE YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR LATER
Save YouTube videos for later.
A talk between meetings. A recipe for the weekend. Keep the link now and make the next visit easier.
01 / CAPTURE THE LINK
Save now. Choose a topic later.
- Copy a YouTube video link: a watch URL, Short or youtu.be link.
- Open your video library and choose Add video.
- Paste the link and choose a category, or leave it in Uncategorized.
- Choose Add video. The title, channel and thumbnail help you recognize it when you return.
The video must still be available on YouTube. Saving a link does not copy the video file. For duplicate links and searching, see the bookmark manager guide.
02 / LEAVE YOURSELF A CLUE
Remember why you wanted to watch.
Open Note and write one next step: “Try this shaping technique on Saturday” or “Watch before choosing a microphone.” Your personal note is searchable when the title is not enough.
Use categories and tags as related links collect. After watching, set a manual start time for the part worth returning to. YouSave does not track playback or mark videos watched automatically.
03 / RETURN WITH A PURPOSE
Keep a reference. Build a route.
Choose a category or search titles, channels, tags and notes. Remove links you no longer need. When several videos form a useful sequence, make a collection and write the context someone else will need.
YouTube Watch Later is a convenient queue inside YouTube. You can use both; our comparison explains the choices. Before clearing browser data, keep a JSON backup of your guest library.
