SAVE AND FOLLOW COLLECTIONS

Keep a good collection close.

Found a route you want to return to? Keep the collection in your library, then choose whether new videos should reach your updates.

A collection you can come back to.Save the live collection to your Library. Choose updates separately and follow new published additions.

01 / KEEP THE COLLECTION

Save the route, not a frozen copy.

  1. Open another curator’s published collection.
  2. Choose Save collection. If you are a guest, sign in or register, then confirm the save.
  3. Open Saved collections in your library to return to it.

A save points to the current published version. It does not copy the videos into your personal bookmarks or create an editable collection of your own. Draft changes remain invisible until the author publishes them.

Try the layout in our editorial example. The example is a static guide; it does not create an account or a saved collection for you.

02 / CHOOSE YOUR UPDATES

Saving and following are separate choices.

Turn on Notify me for a saved collection to receive newly published videos in Saved collections → Updates. Saving alone does not enable it. Use Mark as read or Mark all as read to clear unread updates.

Notifications start from the current published version. Reordering a collection, editing its text or changing a timestamp does not count as a new video. Turning Notify me off stops future in-app updates.

Email updates is another explicit opt-in. It does not turn on Notify me, and Notify me does not subscribe you to email. Account → Email settings provides daily or weekly preferences when delivery is available. External email delivery is not enabled yet. Use the in-app Updates feed for now.

03 / UNDERSTAND ACCESS

The author still controls publication.

Saved collections open the current published version only while you still have access. Making a collection Private, deleting it or rotating its Unlisted link can make a save unavailable. A save does not preserve the old contents or grant permanent access.

If the author gives you a new valid Unlisted link, open it and use Save again. You choose notifications again for the new access. See sharing and access for the author’s controls.

Choose Unsave or Remove and confirm to remove your saved relation and its update history. That leaves the author’s collection and your own video bookmarks unchanged.

GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions

Does saving a collection subscribe me to notifications?

No. Save collection, Notify me and Email updates are three independent choices. Notification and email options start off.

Do I receive all the older videos as new updates?

No. Turning on updates starts from the current publication. Later newly published videos can appear in your Updates feed.

Can I edit a collection I saved?

No. A save is a relation to the author’s published collection, not an editable copy.

What happens if a saved collection becomes Private?

Its content becomes unavailable through the save. Saving a collection does not override the author’s current access settings.
